This series on geography for classes 6, 7 and 8 explores the physical as well as human aspects of our environment. It aims at inculcating among students a deeper appreciation of the interrelationship between man and his environment at a personal as well as global level.
The interactive approach of the series will sustain the interest of the students. The text has been supplemented with a number of illustrations, tables, charts, maps, diagrams and photographs to facilitate a better understanding of the concepts. The intext questions encourage students to look beyond the text and find out some answers on their own. The exercises at the end of each chapter have been designed keeping in mind the pattern of questions prescribed by the Council. The exercises will also act as elementary tools to prepare them for the board examination.
The course books are accompanied by three workbooks, which present a wide range of questions to consolidate learning.
