Vijaya Subramaniam has been teaching at the high school level for almost four decades. She has written extensively for students of middle and high school. She has been very active in promoting effective ELT programmes. She recently retired as Vice Principal, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi. At present, she is associated with the Aga Khan Foundation as trainer and teacher for implementation of English Access Microscholarship Program co-funded by the US Embassy and the Aga Khan Foundation.
