V. Venkatasivakumar is a chartered accountant and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is Senior Professor of Costing and Finance and Director at the Sreenivasa Coaching Centre, Chennai and Bangalore. He is actively involved in teaching, research and consultancy in a distinguished career spanning over 25 years.

With a strong background in science, he was awarded a gold medal at the graduation level. Venkatasivakumar was Professor and Senior Consultant with Dr Beasanthraj, DBA Harvard, with whom he was actively involved in preparing case studies based on live situation business models. He was a visiting faculty at the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of ICAI. He is also a visiting faculty at other distinguished professional and management institutions such as the SIRC of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI), Chennai; SIRC of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Chennai; Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai; and Indian Institute of Business Planning and Management, Chennai.

Venkatasivakumar has authored various books such as Strategic Financial Management for final year students of CA and ICWA, Strategic Cost Management for final year students of CA and CWA, Advanced Financial Management for MBA students and Cost Accounting and Financial Management for CA, CWA Intermediate and B.Com students.
