is a Professor and Head of Department of Computer Studies at the Chh. Shahu Central Institute of Business Education & Research (SIBER), Kolhapur, as well as Chairman of the Technomathematics Research Foundation. He received the BOYSCAST (Young scientist) award of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, in 1997. He is also the recipient of the DAAD fellowship and the UNESCO-TWAS Associateship in mathematical sciences. He has had many research and teaching assignments in Germany, Norway, Japan, Austria, and Vietnam. His primary research focuses on artificial intelligence, symbolic computing, and mathematical modelling. He has authored over 42 technical publications, many books and edited international conference volumes on computer algebra and artificial intelligence.
